2006-2007
Your 5th grade school picture. You are still attending East Elementary and your teacher was Ms. Warbington.
Third Grade 2004-2005
May 2004
Toward the end of May - just before school got out - there was a special presentation for Dad from Round Valley Primary School. You were one of the boys asked to help with the flag so we could say the Pledge of Allegiance. There weren't too many dry eyes when this was said. Your dad was well liked in the community and had touched many people's lives.
Spring break 2004
Isn't it great - you are 8! 2004
You had friends over for your 8th birthday. There was Rugar D., Carrie S., Megan S., Shoudy E., and Darby F. along with your brothers. You had a beach theme and requested German Chocolate Cupcakes. Since you are 8 now - you can be baptized. However - Dad wasn't home from Iraq yet - so you waited until he was.
Now that you are 8 - you are in Cubscouts! Look at you in your new shirt and neckerchief! I never would have thought I would be so involved in scouts myself - but it started when you joined.

Halloween 2003
Second Grade - 2003
4 July 2003
Eagar, Arizona always had great July 4th parades when we lived there. You got to be a part of it on the riding swing float. You are seated in the front middle - going up to the front on your swing. You are looking to the left so I could get a good picture.
When kids were tired of swinging - they got to ride in the wagon. You are the one wearing the white shirt.

Fall 2001 - School here I come!
2001
Here you are turning 5! Now you can go to school in the fall. The cake is supposed to be JarJar Binks from Star Wars - but I couldn't get it quite right.
April 2001. My little brother Michael joins the family. Here Dad is helping me hold him at the hospital.
16 August 2001. My first day of kindergarten! You looked so handsome! I cried after you left. Moms generally do that when their kids leave home for the first time. It's a habit we have.

The Year 2000
Each year always starts with your birthday! Here you are turning 4. You were very much into Star Wars - and still are. You definitely are your Daddy's son!
Summer 2000. We visited Grandma and Grandpa Dysart. Here you are with Grandma Dysart playing some bells.
Aunt Lynda and Uncle Jess took you and Christopher to the zoo then to a park to play. Here you are just down the slide.

Summer 1998
We were visiting Grandpa and Grandma Dysart in Oregon. Grandma wanted to have your picture taken. You were 2 1/2 years old. Grandpa came from Oregon and drove you, Christopher and I back to Oregon. We visited with Grandpa and Grandma Dysart and Grandpa and Grandma Zaugg. Then we went up to Allyn, WA to visit Grandma and Grandpa Rogers. They drove us back to Utah.

October 1997
Donovan is showing off in his new Mickey Mouse P.J.'s!
Tupperware. Not just for baking anymore.
This was your first time to go trick or treating. I asked you what you wanted to be and gave you some ideas. You said "the letter Y." That wasn't one of the ideas. You came up with that all on your own. We lived in Provo, UT and up on the hill behind our apartment is a huge "Y" for Brigham Young University. You wanted to be that letter. This is what I came up with for you to wear.

Grandpa and Grandma Rogers came for a visit the summer of 1997. Here you are with Grandpa and Grandma Rogers.
Here is our family. Russell, Donovan and Candace.
Four generations. Grandma Rogers holding Donovan, Candace - pregnant with Christopher and your Great Grandma Stone.
Grandma Dysart came to stay with us for a few days in July. She had this picture taken at the mall. You were 19 months old.
Aunt Carrie and I have had many a laugh at your expense with this shot. Your little bummie is so cute! I love the baby fat on your legs.
Playing with Ryan in the little kiddie pool. It was very refreshing for a hot Utah summer!
